Pear Deck is a helpful tool that increases student engagement. Basically, teachers insert questions into their Google Slides and students respond anonymously on their own devices. It keeps students focused and active with their learning because they have to participate. With so many different question formats, teachers are able to manipulate pear deck to fit their needs. I especially like the drawing function, which I think could be a lot of fun for students.
