Founded by Domenick Pandiscia and co-founded by Nick Socci, OVERSAND™ was born through a lifetime spent where the land meets the sea. As kids, our parents would drop us off at the shoreline with a backpack, fishing rods, and nothing but time until sunset. Those long, sun-drenched days on the beach weren’t just a pastime—they shaped who we are. We fell deeply in love with the ocean and everything in it. But anyone who spends their life on the water knows that the coast is brutal on gear. Season after season, we watched our bags fall apart. Zippers corroded, straps frayed, and seams split under the constant assault of salt spray, sand, and heavy surf. The high-end, luxury bags on the market were way out of budget, but the affordable options couldn't handle real use. We needed gear that could survive a lifetime of hard abuse while keeping our essentials bone-dry, without costing a fortune.
When we couldn't find it, we decided to build it ourselves. We engineered OVERSAND™ to be indestructible, premium gear made for everyday anglers and explorers who need equipment they can actually rely on.
Our connection to the water goes far deeper than just fishing. The ocean gave us our best memories, and right now, it’s in trouble. We refuse to sit back and watch the places we love get choked out by pollution. Saving our oceans is the entire heartbeat of this company. We look at the massive crisis of ocean plastic and see a battlefield where we need to fight back. That’s why we build our high-performance gear out of recycled plastic waste. Every bag we make represents real trash pulled away from fragile marine ecosystems and turned into something useful and permanent. We are fully committed to protecting our waterways so that the next generation can experience the same wild, clean coastlines we did. When you carry OVERSAND™, you aren't just buying gear that can withstand the elements—you are joining us in the fight to save them.
