Is my data private?

Yes. Your timeline data is stored on your device in the cloud accounts you choose to connect. We never store your personal notes on our servers.

What does Pro include?

Pro unlocks all themes, the Memory Canvas export feature, and the ability to create multiple named timelines. Pro is a yearly subscription purchase managed through the App Store.

How do I restore my purchase?

Open the app → Settings → Restore Purchases.

How do I back up my data?

Go to Settings and connect your preferred cloud storage (iCloud, Google Drive, OneDrive, or Dropbox). Your timeline will sync automatically.

If I do not renew my subscription, what happens to my extra timelines?

The Life Timeline is available on the App Store for iPhone,  iPad, and macOS

Overview

The Life Timeline is designed to keep your personal data under your control. Your timeline notes and journal entries are stored on your device and in the cloud accounts you choose — we do not collect or store your personal content on our servers.

Data We Collect

Data you create

Your timeline entries and notes are stored locally on your device as a file. This data does not leave your device unless you enable cloud sync (see below).

Purchase and subscription data

We use RevenueCat to manage in-app purchases and Pro subscriptions. RevenueCat may collect your App Store purchase history, device identifiers, and subscription status. You are identified anonymously — no account or email is required. See RevenueCat's privacy policy at revenuecat.com/privacy.

Crash and diagnostic data

Apple may collect anonymous crash reports and usage diagnostics through standard iOS/iPadOS mechanisms, subject to your device-level privacy settings.

Optional Features and Third-Party Services

The following features are entirely optional. We only access these services if you explicitly connect them in Settings.

Cloud Storage

When you enable cloud backup, your timeline file is synced to the provider you choose:

• iCloud — governed by Apple's Privacy Policy

We only read and write your timeline file. We do not access any other files in your cloud accounts.

Calendar Sync

If you enable calendar sync, the app reads events from your connected calendar and displays them alongside your timeline. We do not modify, delete, or upload calendar data anywhere.

• Apple Calendar — accessed on-device only

• Google Calendar — governed by Google's Privacy Policy

• Microsoft Outlook Calendar — governed by Microsoft's Privacy Policy

Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties, except as described above (RevenueCat for purchase management, and your chosen cloud/calendar providers if you opt in).

Data Retention and Deletion

Your timeline data lives in the file on your device (and in your chosen cloud account, if enabled). To delete your data, delete the app and remove the file from any connected cloud storage. We do not hold copies of your data.

Children's Privacy

This app is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to This Policy

If we make material changes to this policy, we will update the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
