Routine Tracker makes it simple — and genuinely enjoyable — to stay on top of every habit, chore, and goal in your life.
15 Beautiful Themes: Midnight purple. Ocean blue. Rose Quartz pink. Forest green. Gold Rush. Neon City. Choose a theme that matches your mood — each one has its own unique fonts, colours, and feel.
Points & Progress: Earn points for every completed task and track your streaks over time. Watch your consistency grow with detailed completion history and charts.
(Future Planned Feature) NFC Tag Automation (Pro): Tap a small NFC sticker — on your mirror, gym bag, or front door — to complete a task instantly. No unlocking, no searching. Just tap and done.
Future Planned Feature) Weather Triggers (Pro): Some tasks only make sense in certain weather. Set outdoor habits to appear automatically on sunny days, or get a reminder when rain is coming.
(Future Planned Feature) Your Data, Your Way: Export everything as a readable Markdown file and save it anywhere in your Files app. Your routines belong to you.

Tap the + icon in the top-right corner of the home screen, or scroll to the bottom of the task list and tap + Add New Category. Give it a name, pick an emoji and colour, and tap Create. The new category will appear immediately on your home screen.
Inside any category card, tap + Add task at the bottom of the card. Type your task name, set a point value, and tap Add. You can also tap Edit on a card to reorder or delete existing tasks.
Free users can add 5 custom tasks on top of the built-in defaults. To add unlimited tasks, upgrade to Routine Tracker Pro in the Settings tab.
Go to Settings → Appearance → App Theme and tap any theme to preview and apply it instantly. All 15 themes are available on both free and Pro plans.
Purchase small NFC stickers (any NFC215 sticker works — available on Amazon for a few dollars).
In the app, go to Settings → NFC Tags → Manage NFC Tags.
Select a task and tap Program Tag, then hold your phone to the sticker.
From now on, holding your phone to that sticker will instantly complete the task — no app-opening needed.
Weather triggers let tasks appear automatically based on local weather conditions. For example, you can set "Go for a walk" to only show up when it's sunny, or "Check the gutters" to appear when rain is forecast. Set these up by tapping the sun icon (🌤) next to any task in edit mode.
Go to Settings → Subscription → Restore Purchases. Your purchase is tied to your Apple ID, so it will be restored immediately on any device signed in to the same account.
Subscriptions are managed through Apple, not the app. To cancel:
Open the Settings app on your iPhone.
Tap your name at the top → Subscriptions.
Find Routine Tracker and tap Cancel Subscription.
Note: You can also tap Manage Subscription in Settings → Subscription inside the app, which takes you directly to the same screen.
Each interval resets automatically at the start of a new period:
Daily tasks reset every midnight
Weekly tasks reset every Sunday
Monthly tasks reset on the 1st of each month
Your history is saved and viewable in the History tab — nothing is permanently deleted.
Go to Settings → Markdown Export → Export All Data. This saves a readable file called routine-tracker-data.md to your app folder. To find it:
Open the Files app on your iPhone.
Tap On My iPhone → Routine Tracker → RoutineTracker.
The file will be there, ready to open, share, or back up.
Please email routinetrackerOCDIY@gmail.com with a description of what you found or what you'd love to see. Every message is read personally.
Routine Tracker stores all your task data locally on your device. It does not collect or share personal information.
Location Data: Location is used only to fetch weather conditions for weather-triggered tasks. It is never stored or transmitted beyond the weather request.
Subscriptions: Subscriptions are handled by Apple and RevenueCat. RevenueCat may store a random anonymous ID to manage your purchase. See
