1. The app isn't speaking when I leave the app. How do I fix this?
Make sure the app is allowed to run in the background:
Do not force-quit the app—just go to the Home screen
Make sure your phone is not in Silent Mode or Do Not Disturb
Ensure your volume is turned up
iPhone: Settings → Out The Door → enable Background App Refresh
2. How do I change the voice announcement interval?
Open your routine → tap Edit → go to Voice Announcements → select an interval. Free users are limited to 10-minute intervals; Pro users unlock all interval options (1, 5, 10, 15, 30 minutes, or hourly).
3. What is the 30-second warning?
Pro users can enable a special voice reminder that plays 30 seconds before the final task ends. Enable it in your routine settings under "30 Second Warning."
4. How do I create a new routine?
Home screen → tap My Routines (folder icon in the top right) → tap the + button → name your routine → add tasks with times → tap Save.
5. How do I restore my purchase on a new device?
Go to Settings (gear icon) → scroll down to "Restore Purchases" → tap it. Your Pro status will restore automatically if you're signed into the same Apple ID.
6. The app crashed or won't open. What should I do?
Try the following steps:
Force-quit the app and reopen it
Restart your iPhone
Ensure you're running iOS 14 or later
Update to the latest version in the App Store

7. How do I cancel my subscription?
Subscriptions are managed by Apple: Settings → [Your Name] → Subscriptions → Out The Door → Cancel Subscription
8. Does the app collect my data?
