We will be providing tables of displays for our Newcomers and former members to view and admire. The Canton of Stormwall and the Barony of Hawkwood has incredible artisans covering a wide range of applications from Basketry, Weaving, Needle Embroidery, Metal work, Bead Embroidery, Illumination and Calligraphy, historical research for garment construction.

Yes! Tubular Netting is Period. Just ask the ancient Egyptians.

Lady Theresa of Caid will be teaching her " Filled Netted Tubular Rope. This is a two hour class which is tentatively scheduled for 10:00 am to 12:00 in the Arts and Science Area. The Kit for the class is $10.00 which is payable at the start of the class. She will have enough kits for 6 students.
She will also be available after class for a beading solar (gathering) for those that wish to keep working on their bracelets or just join us to work on your own project.

Do you dream of Strawberries and Cream, or that wonderful sweet bread recipe, how about a cold compote? Well then, do we have a competition for you. Compose the perfect Outdoor dessert and let us know if you wish to participate so we have enough coolers to keep your tasty treasures which will be judged by Newcomers and populace alike. A prize will be given for the Peoples Choice Award and who knows, you may enjoy preparing this scrumptious treat.

Create an Illuminated Border on Bristol Board, water color paper or Pergamenata in any size, for eventual use in Baronial Court for the Barony of Hawkwood. These Illuminated Borders can be as simple or as detailed as you are comfortable with. Please leave space for the Award Badge.

The Populace of the SCA and visitors on site will see each category displayed above for you to look at and admire. You will see cups set at each submission with a information reference below the item. You will then see a larger container of Beans. Please remove one bean for the selection you feel should when the Peoples Choice Competition. The cup with the most Beans will be selected as the winner.
