Submit a Patent @ OUSL
As per the Intellectual Property Policy of OUSL all the Intellectual property related things will be managed through the Industry Liaison Centre of the OUSL.
Whenever there is a new Invention, the Inventors shall submit an Invention Disclosure Form to the ILC.
The ILC will do a Prior Art Search and let you know the Patentability of your Invention.
Based on the Patentability and the IP value of your invention, required protection methods will be suggested.
If you are submitting a Local Patent at NIPO following Documents will be required
Invention Disclosure Form signed by all the inventors.
Draft Application and documents shall be forwarded to ILC for review.
ILC will include all other documents including Cover Letters.
If the documents are correct the ILC will send them for the Signature of Vice-Chancellor.
Once the Vice-Chancellor signed the application the ILC will submit it to NIPO.
ILC will issue the reference numbers for the Inventors.
All the Documents will be maintained in a separate file for each application at ILC.
ILC will directly follow up with NIPO until the patent is granted.
