A master carpenter with brilliant work to his name.  He sadly passed on but left a legacy of kindness and the results of his incredible cabinet making skills.

Dougal was the name he came with.  He was a beautiful character in the form of a German Wirehaired Pointer.

He was a rescued hunting dog that we got from SeBPRA - a Spanish based rescue centre for dogs.

Dougal was passed to a rescue centre having been thrown out of a transit van (which only slowed down) outside a camp site in Spain.
He had a chip removed with pliers, his tail was docked too short and he had his jowels cut withg sheers so he could hunt.

Cav is short for Cavall [ pronounced Cav-ath ] who was King Arthurs favourite hunting hound.

He is a recent addition to the house having come from SeBPRA - a Spanish based rescue centre for dogs - where we got Dougal from.

Cav's tentative at first but everyone is suckered by those eyes and velvet ears.  Mish loves him but Mish loves anyone that doesn't shout.

We met Marc at The Dragon Inn.  He took an instant liking for Hamish who, of course, absorbed all the love - and treats - Marc could supply.

Marc works for a firm of solicitors defending folks that may otherwise be bundled into prison or massive fines without someone on their sides.

He is also a thespian - actor and director who worked for the Royal Shakespeare Company and the National Theatre though does not do enough name-dropping unless prompted; e.g. Judy Dench, Maggie Smith, etc.

Kai and Bubba live on the Arbo but we met through Marc (at the Dragon).  With our latest member of the family, Cav, Bubba takes a short break from work at the Dragon and Kai resists the urge to give Cav the phone to configure for him.
