Preamble
Let us pray from for our future kin, as they will lead Ottawa over beyond. Blessed be Ottawa, as for independence was secured by the founding fathers, whom brought freedom to Ottawa.
ARTICLES
Article 1
The government of the commonwealth of Ottawa will be voted in by the parliament, which is made for the people by the people with the people. If the leader stands to destroy the Commonwealth, the parliament has right to remove him or her.
Article 2
There will be three branches, the legislative branch to make the laws for the people, the executive branch, to enforce the laws and to represent the nation to foreign powers, and the judicial branch, to interpret laws and to deal with criminals.
Article 3
There will be two levels of government, the federal government, for the whole nation, and the provincial government, representing the province.
Article 4
The only way for a province to be divided is if the province allows a new province to be formed out of some of it territory.
Article 5
The army and air force are required to exist, but new military branches can be made.
Article 6
Every citizen has the right to life, liberty, and the purest of happiness. Everyone has a right to freedom of speech, press, petition, protest, and religion along with a right to vote. Any citizen over 12 has the right to own firearms as a mean of protection. Any citizen tried of a crime has the right to a trial by jury with one member being a family member.
Article 7
There will be two members of parliament till population allows it to increase.
Article 8
The king will be voted in by members of the parliament, which are voted in by the people. Each province will hold its own small parliament, known as the advisory council, and its own king, known as the governor.
Article 9
There is a limit of 4 candidates for king, while there is no such limit for parliament.
AMENDMENTS
Amendment I
Any laws or rights not stated by the constitution will be left to the decision of the provinces.
Amendment II
New states will be brought to the parliament, where majority vote will make it a provinces.
Amendment III
Elections shall be held yearly on November 14
