Nicholas Puhl

Mr. Nicholas Puhl is an undergraduate student pursuing a degree in Chemical Engineering at the University of British Columbia (UBC) in Vancouver. He previously attended The Ohio State University for one year before transferring to UBC to continue his academic and technical development. Nicholas is interested in thermal-hydraulics & two-phase flow, nuclear reactor safety & design, and radioactive waste management.

Nick joined the RTHL as an undergraduate research volunteer in Summer 2026. He assisted the construction of a versatile test platform for multi-phase hydrodynamics study and two-phase instrumentation development. Nick also actively observed the RTHL routines during a summer experiment campaign.
