Your flights to Male / Velana Airport should meet the following criteria:
The ARRIVAL flight must occur on the 27th of march between 7:00 am and 9:00 am. Flights from Emirates, Qatar, and Etihad are available during this time frame.
The DEPARTURE flight must occur on the 4th of april date after 6:00 pm (18:00)
For those arriving on different dates, we recommend meeting at the airport on the arrival day around 9:00 am to get the group transfer to the yacht, as we will depart shortly after boarding. If you are staying longer in the Maldives, please schedule your transfer to the next destination for after 5:00 pm. Any other transfer timings of arrangements will be at your own expense.
For those making last-minute travel plans, facing difficulty with flight connections, we suggest to extend your stay in the Maldives for a day or two. Maafushi Island is an ideal destination for a short extension, offering vibrant tourist experience. The island has a variety of budget-friendly guesthouses and hotels, making it easy to relax and take your next flight without any rush.
Please note that single cabins are not available on the boat, so we kindly ask for an open and flexible attitude toward sharing a twin cabin (separated beds) with another solo traveler.
I will suggest suitable cabin pairings based on the bookings received and create a WhatsApp group so you can connect and get to know each other beforehand.
Depending on availability and the total number of participants, it may be possible to upgrade to a double cabin for single use by paying a supplement, if the retreat does not sell out completely.
No, we do not rent snorkeling equipment, as it is considered a personal item for hygienic reasons and due to the sizing challenges of fins. We recommend bringing your own snorkeling gear, including a mask, snorkel, and fins.
If this is your first time snorkeling, we suggest visiting a specialized store to ensure you choose a high-quality mask that fits perfectly and prevents water from entering. For fins, we recommend a medium length: neither too short nor freediving fins and opt for flexible models rather than hard plastic ones. This will help avoid cramps, especially since we will spend significant time in the water. If you need any assistance you can send me an email
The period of end of March and beginning of April is one of the best times to visit the Maldives: the sea is calm and crystal clear, the days are sunny, and the temperatures are perfect for water and outdoor activities. Average daytime temperatures range between 28°C and 32°C, with water temperatures around 29°C. Ideal for snorkeling, swimming and diving. Humidity is present but softened by the ocean breeze and sunsets are spectacular. You may experience brief tropical showers, light and short-lived that quickly give way to sunshine again.
