ASPIRANcy is a phase dedicated to welcoming, accompaniment, discernment, and the growth of human and spiritual qualities (cf. RFIS 16) in a journey towards the maturing of a vocation to the religious life and the priesthood in the Oblates of Saint Joseph. (RF 45)
THE ASPIRANTS
The ASPIRANTS themselves have an important role in their own formation as they are the necessary and irreplaceable protagonists of their formation.
It is also open to the exploration of the Josephite Marellian vocation in its two expressions as BROTHER and PRIEST. (RF 46)
TAKE NOTICE THAT:
Aspirants who completed SENIOR HIGH SCHOOL from the Oblates of Saint Joseph Minor Seminary are admitted to the College Seminary as first year seminarians.Â
While, Aspirants who completed SENIOR HIGH SCHOOL from other schools are admitted to the College Seminary as orientandi at which stage they are introduced into the seminary life for a year.
HOW TO EXPERIENCE THE SEMINARY?
Search-in Program is a weekend of discernment and discovery.
The program is an introduction to the seminary formation program, a tour of the seminary, gatherings with the seminarians, and sharing of vocation stories and of life in the seminary in a prayerful, positive, and fraternal atmosphere.
