OSEKU Privacy Policy

OSEKU (“we”, “our”, or “us”) is a mobile marketplace that connects clients who need local services with workers who can provide those services. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your choices.
1. Information we collect
Depending on how you use OSEKU, we may collect:
Account information: email address and password (handled by our authentication provider).
Profile information: name, bio, phone/WhatsApp number, location text you provide, profile photo, and portfolio images or video links.
Service activity: job posts, applications, ratings, and reviews you create.
Technical data: basic device and app usage information needed to operate and secure the service (for example, session and error-related data).
We do not offer in-app payments, an internal chat system, or live GPS tracking in the current version.

Help clients and workers contact each other (for example via WhatsApp when you choose to share a phone number)

3. How we share information
Profile and job-related information you publish may be visible to other OSEKU users as needed for the marketplace to work (for example, a worker’s public profile or a client’s job post).
We use trusted service providers to operate the app, including Supabase (authentication, database, and file storage). We do not sell your personal information.
4. Data storage and security
Your data is stored using cloud infrastructure provided by our service providers. We use industry-standard protections such as encrypted connections (HTTPS). No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information.
5. Data retention
We keep your information while your account is active and as needed to provide the service. You may request deletion of your account and associated personal data by contacting us.
6. Children’s privacy
OSEKU is intended for users aged 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Stop using the app and request account deletion
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when we do. Continued use of OSEKU after changes means you accept the updated policy.
