The Orthodox Christian Faith
Orthodox Christianity is the original Christian faith, founded by Jesus Christ and faithfully preserved by the Apostles and their successors for over 2,000 years. Through prayer, the sacraments, and holy tradition, the Orthodox Church offers a path to union with God just as it did from the beginning.
Saint Andrew the Apostle
As the patron saint of Scotland and the “First-Called” Apostle, Saint Andrew holds deep significance in the Orthodox Church. Since our group is based in Pinehurst, a town rooted in the game of golf, we are initially connecting our missionary efforts to Saint Andrew, whose legacy of faith, courage, and evangelism inspires our work. His feast day is celebrated on November 30th.
