Our team works closely with the community to help our youth have more opportunities to play the sport of wheelchair basketball.
Our team works closely with the local adult wheelchair basketball team, the Orlando Magic Wheels. Once gaining fundamental skills our youth may opt to practice additional with the adult team. Some adult players have assisted us during practices and attended some tournaments. Our team has been invited to wheelchair basketball demonstrations with their team.

We have worked closely with the NBA team, the Orlando Magic, to receive approval to use our own variation of the Magic logo for our Orlando Magic Dreamers team. The Magic have also donated tickets for some of our players to attend games and in 2024 they invited our team to play in a scrimmage game during half-time of a game on the Magic's day of inclusion (March 21st).
We partner closely with the OCPS' Wheelcats Wheelchair basketball program. A little more than half of our kids attend OCPS, the 8th largest school district in the country, and are able to play wheelchair basketball one additional time in the spring between March and May while the Wheelcats program is actively practicing. We encourage any of our players who are students within OCPS to participate in Wheelcats and also welcome Wheelcats each year as our team continues to provide opportunities to youth in central Florida.
