Orama 2.0 - Alberto BalloccaOrama includes a selection of artworks of the contemporary Italian artist Alberto Ballocca. Each work is nspired by history and nature.

The collection focuses on a sculptural work mixed with a palm tree cut-out with its bust surrounded by other natural patterns:

“The palm tree symbolizes paradise, but paradise means ‘garden,’ a collection of plants.

When I saw the palm tree mixed with the Turin vegetation on the hill, I felt at home, but also elsewhere; this is my connection to the ancient world.”

“At the Egyptian Museum, Italians are indistinguishable from foreigners. Everyone looks at history, but their experiences are different, and it doesn’t matter if you’re poor or rich; this ancient culture is a common thread that unites everyone, without any kind of distinction. I envisioned different people within my dreams that felt in love with the painting Photosynthesis, that’s why I decided to use it as opening work for this collection.”
