**OptimoCleaner — System Cleaner**
Last updated: April 8, 2026
## Introduction
OptimoCleaner ("we", "our", or "the App") is a system utility application designed to help you monitor system performance, clean junk files, optimize RAM, and manage photos on your device. We are committed to protecting your privacy and being transparent about our data practices.
## Information We Collect
### Information We Do NOT Collect
OptimoCleaner is designed with privacy at its core. We do **not** collect, store, or transmit:
- Personal identification information (name, email, address)
- Location data
- Browsing history
- Contacts or calendar data
- Device identifiers for tracking purposes
- Any user-generated content
### Information Processed Locally on Your Device
The following data is accessed and processed **entirely on your device** and is never sent to any server:
- **System Information**: CPU usage, RAM usage, disk space, battery level, and temperature readings are used solely to display real-time system status within the app.
- **File System Data**: Cache files, log files, temporary files, and trash contents are scanned to identify junk files. File paths and sizes are processed locally.
- **Photo Library** (iOS only): With your explicit permission, OptimoCleaner scans your photo library to identify duplicates, screenshots, large photos, and blurry photos. Photo data is analyzed on-device and never uploaded.
- **Installed Applications** (macOS only): Application names, bundle identifiers, versions, and sizes are read locally to display your installed apps.
### Subscription Information
If you subscribe to OptimoCleaner Premium, your payment is processed entirely by Apple through the App Store. We do not have access to your payment details, credit card number, or Apple ID credentials. Apple's privacy policy governs this transaction.
## Data Storage
- **On-Device Only**: All data processed by OptimoCleaner remains on your device. We do not operate any servers or cloud infrastructure to collect user data.
- **App Preferences**: Your settings (auto-refresh interval, onboarding status, first launch date for trial calculation) are stored locally using Apple's standard UserDefaults mechanism.
## Third-Party Services
OptimoCleaner does not integrate any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking SDKs. The only third-party service involved is:
- **Apple StoreKit**: Used exclusively for processing in-app subscription purchases. Governed by [Apple's Privacy Policy](https://www.apple.com/legal/privacy/).
## Required Device Permissions
| Permission | Purpose | Platform |
|-----------|---------|----------|
| Photo Library | Scan for duplicate, blurry, large, and screenshot photos | iOS |
| File Access (User-Selected) | Access files selected by the user for cleanup | macOS |
All permissions are requested with clear explanations before access is granted. You can revoke permissions at any time through your device's Settings.
## Privacy API Usage
In compliance with Apple's requirements, OptimoCleaner declares the following API usage in its Privacy Manifest (PrivacyInfo.xcprivacy):
- **Disk Space API**: To display available and used storage (Reason: E174.1)
- **System Boot Time API**: To calculate system uptime (Reason: 35F9.1)
- **File Timestamp API**: To identify and sort files by modification date (Reason: C617.1)
## Children's Privacy
OptimoCleaner is not directed at children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect any information from children.
## Data Deletion
Since OptimoCleaner does not collect or store any personal data on external servers, there is no user data to delete. Uninstalling the app removes all locally stored preferences and data.
## Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
