Harry Gaylor is a University of Nebraska Lincoln graduate and was a standout wrestler during his years at the University. He has taken both of those 'loves' and spent his teaching career coaching wrestlers and Marketing/DECA students.
His 51 years of teaching have been with Omaha Public Schools. He began at Omaha Technical High School in 1969 and taught Marketing there for 15 years, until the school was closed. Omaha Technical High School began offering ‘Distributive Education’ in 1921 and was considered to be one of the oldest in the nation. He started at Omaha Central in 1984 and retired in May 2020.
Vicki Wiles is a University of Nebraska Omaha graduate and also has a Master's Degree from UNO. She student taught at Omaha Central for Mr. Gaylor and Mrs. Bunz and was hired by OPS in 1989. She spent her entire career teaching Marketing and various business courses at Central. She also coached girl’s track in the early 90’s and was the Varsity Girl’s Volleyball coach from 1990-1995.
Alice Bunz graduated from Omaha South High School and earned her Business Education degree from University of Nebraska Omaha. She began her teaching career at Omaha Technical High School teaching keyboarding and other office skills courses. When Tech closed, Alice was moved to Central High and taught a variety of business/office courses. Over her career at Central, Alice also taught marketing, supervised students on marketing internship and was a DECA sponsor. She was also the Business/Marketing/Information Technology Department Chair
