Why do I need to update my application?

Updating your contact information and schedule is an important part of the volunteer registration process. 

In addition to sharing any changes you may have in address, phone, equipment, or email address, you can also update you preferences for park locations, the type of positions you are interested in, and indicate your availability for the coming year.

This updated information allows Oregon Parks and Recreation Department to contact you about general updates for the OPRD volunteer program, like annual park host registration, and for parks with available volunteer assignments to reach out to you and schedule you for available volunteer opportunities.
