Stacey Curti
is the founder and President of Octagon Performance Group (“OPG”). She has dedicated her career to the performing arts, with over thirty years of experience as a performer, director, choreographer, and business manager. Originally from California, she grew up performing in children’s and community theater and started teaching and choreographing at the age of fifteen. Stacey continued her love of the performing arts by earning her BA in Drama with an emphasis in Musical Theatre from the University of California at Irvine and touring internationally with Up With People.
After relocating to the east coast, she worked in arts management for several years as the Program Manager for New York City Dance Alliance and the Company Manager for New York City Theatrical Events. Additionally, she served as the Managing Director of the Play Group Theater in White Plains and earned her Certificate in Arts Management from SUNY Purchase. Stacey worked at Crystal Theatre in Norwalk for 14 years, directing and choreographing more than forty musicals with children ranging from ages 8 to 18. She has also worked in various Connecticut public schools, serving as the Director/Choreographer at Weston Middle School, the Choreographer at Fairfield Woods Middle School, and as a drama instructor with Performing Arts Programs throughout Fairfield and New Haven Counties.
Outside of the theater, Stacey is a full-time mom to her daughters Marisa and Amanda. She is thrilled her daughters share her love of theater, and in addition to performing, are eager to help behind the scenes of OPG’s productions. She is also incredibly grateful to her husband Chris’ ongoing participation with OPG, both as the CFO and well, almost anything else… OPG is truly a family affair!
Jonathan Bauerfeld
is an award-winning musical theater composer, orchestrator, music director, and certified vocal coach. Based in NYC, he has worked as a member of team music on Broadway and beyond, on shows such as HAMILTON, THE WHO'S TOMMY, KING KONG, and THE RADIO CITY CHRISTMAS SPECTACULAR. As a composer, Bauerfeld primarily works with collaborator Casey Kendall. Their original shows THE JURY and THE BOOK OF NAMES have been heralded as "everything you want in new musical theater," "exquisite and intricate," and "near perfect." Bauerfeld penned the score for SHORT SHAKESPEARE! THE COMEDY OF ERRORS at the Tony recognized Chicago Shakespeare Theater, and his 10 minute musical BOOK LOVERS with Talaura Harms - available to license with MTI - continues to enjoy many productions around the world.
As a music director, Bauerfeld uses his knowledge and love of writing to collaborate with composers of new musicals, often also serving as an arranger. He has music directed or associate music directed new and existing shows at The Berkeley Repertory Theater, The Kennedy Center, for several world premieres Off-Broadway, and has performed and worked with stars of the stage and screen such as Raúl Esparza, Bonnie Milligan, Brian Stokes Mitchell, Beanie Feldstein, SNL's Taran Killam, and more. K.W. (Kehan) Miller
performance credits include the national Broadway tours of Wicked, Cats, Peter Pan and Babes in Toyland. He starred in the world premiere of The Basement, a play he wrote and produced to critical acclaim in Los Angeles; the award-winning productions of Nobody Hears A Broken Drum and Psycho Beach Party (L.A.); Finian’s Rainbow and The Pajama Game (REPRISE!); Grease, Equus, A Midsummer Night’s Dream, Romeo & Juliet, Cyrano de Bergerac and Pvt. Wars. Film/TV work includes Roman Empire: Master of Rome on Netflix, the Avatar sequels, Backgammon: Survival Of The Misfits (actor/producer), A Couple Of Days and Nights (actor/producer), Gypsy (starring Bette Midler), Sinbad: Beyond The Veil of Mists, General Hospital and many commercials.

(hosted by Tom Hanks, Lily Tomlin & Lesley Ann Warren); co-writer/director of the critically acclaimed Anne, multiple cruise lines and theme parks, and an original director/choreographer for the inaugural opening of Universal Studios Japan. His vocal talents have been highlighted on projects including Joseph Gordon-Levitt's Mr. Corman; various LeapFrog, Disney and Nickelodeon productions, multiple interactive games in The Cluefinders series, and several LeapPad games. He has written, produced and performed tunes featured on The Young & The Restless, Chef Roblé and Co, America’s Next Top Model and more.
Jackson Tubis
Jackson (he/him) is a recent graduate from Western Connecticut State University with a BFA in Musical Theatre. He is so excited to be returning to Octagon Performance Group this fall! Music Direction/Keyboard credits include: Summer: The Donna Summer Musical, Waitress, and Chicago (Arts Center of Coastal Carolina); Rodgers and Hammerstein's Allegro, Marat/Sade, and Melancholy Play (WCSU). Performance credits include: Murder for Two (Broadway Palm), Next to Normal, and Angels in America (WCSU).
Alice Jackins
is a recent graduate of Bucknell University with a B.A. in Theatre, Spanish, and Women’s and Gender Studies. As the child of two theatre artists, Alice has found herself in theatres for as long as she can remember, and has filled many production roles over the course of her life. Alice has worked in a variety of theatrical settings, including Jacob’s Pillow Dance Festival, the immersive Paw Patrol Experience, the Stage Director and Choreographers fellowship at the Kennedy Center American College Theatre Festival, and London’s Bloomsbury Theatre. Other recent credits include Twelfth Night (Lighting Designer), Waiting for the 6 Train (Director), The Addams Family (Choreographer), Million Dollar Quartet (Asst. Marisa Curti
is a junior at Western Connecticut State University where she is pursuing a BFA in Musical Theatre. She started performing at the age of 4, when she was asked to do a small walk-on part as 'Little Snow White'. She was immediately hooked and has performed in more than 50 shows since. WCSU Credits include Courtney in American Psycho (Upcoming), Ensemble (U/S Serena) in Legally Blonde and Fairy in The Donkey Show. Other favorite roles include Laura in Band Geeks and Hope Cladwell in Urinetown. In addition to performing, Marisa also works as a Choreographer, Assistant Teacher, Costumer and Website Designer for OPG!
Athan Fischer
is currently a junior at Western Connecticut State University where he is pursuing a BFA in Musical Theatre. Originally from Minneapolis, Minnesota where he has performed in over 50 shows since the age of 9. Some of his favorite past credits include Rudolph in Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer the Musical, Race in Newsies, and Schroeder in You’re A Good Man Charlie Brown. He has spent the past 4 years working at a children’s theatre company in his hometown, and is so excited to be able to continue to work in children’s theatre in Connecticut as well.
Timothy Nivison
is a current Junior at SUNY Purchase studying Theater Design/Technology with a concentration in lighting design. His passion for lighting started all the way back in 4th grade when he had the opportunity to help his dad with tech for a school production of Shrek Jr. From that moment on his passion for lighting and creating stories has only grown. He has designed over 80 musicals, ranging from small elementary school productions to full community theater productions. Some of those musicals include La Cage Aux Faux, The Little Mermaid, Legally Blonde, Band Geeks, The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, The Addams Family, and much more. He has also designed lighting for dance performances, including The Nutcracker and Sleeping Beauty. He is the recipient of 5 Seven Angels Theater Halo awards, including Best Lighting Design (All Shook Up 2019), Best Program Design (Guys and Dolls 2020), Student Director (Last Gas 2022), Best Stage Management (Legally Blonde 2023), as well as The Artistic Director Award (2023).
Adam Petrosino
is a playwright, actor and technical designer based in Fairfield, CT. He is a junior at Sacred Heart University studying English and Theatre Arts, with an interest in pursuing a Playwriting MFA post-grad. Recent credits include: Calliope (Playwright), Torch Song (Ed), Quentin: A Roosevelt Musical (Male Swing), Fun Home (Assistant Director / Projection Design), and Peter and the Starcatcher (Light Design).

Genevieve Seanor
is a junior at Sacred Heart University where she studies vocal performance, media arts, and dance. Genevieve has been involved in theatrical productions from a young age and has focused on choreographing in recent years. Some of her favorite theatre credits include Ike in Newsies, Laurey Williams in Oklahoma! and a Silly Girl in Beauty and the Beast. Favorite choreography credits include Carrie the Musical, Urinetown, Seussical Jr., and The Sound of Music. Genevieve is so excited to work with the OPG team and students this summer!
Isabella Vanore
is originally from Downingtown, Pennsylvania where she has been involved in theatre since the age of 12. Bella is a junior at Western Connecticut State University where she is pursuing a BFA in Musical Theatre. WCSU credits include Dot/Marie (Standby) in Sunday in the Park with George and Ensemble in Legally Blonde. Some other past favorite roles include Katherine in Newsies and Dowager Empress in Anastasia. In her hometown, Bella has been actively involved in counseling for youth theatres and here in Connecticut she has been working for OPG for the past two years!
Nora Watson
is a sophomore at Western Connecticut State University where she is pursuing a BFA in Musical Theatre. She graduated from Trumbull High School in 2024 where she played Regina George in Mean Girls, Peggy Sawyer in 42nd Street, and Ariel Moore in Footloose. She has been performing with many local Fairfield County community theatres since she was in 2nd grade. She is so excited to work with the students at OPG and spread her love of theatre!
