The OOB Perinatal Project began as an urgent response to the severe conditions facing pregnant women, new mothers, and infants in Gaza. With families experiencing malnutrition, limited medical access, and a lack of essential supplies, Operation Olive Branch partnered with Pal Humanity to create a direct aid program that could reliably deliver formula, diapers, hygiene kits, and food to those in critical need. What began as a small emergency initiative quickly grew into a large-scale, community-supported lifeline.
Today, the Perinatal Project is directed by Amani Alkahlout, a trusted cook, community caretaker, and longtime partner of OOB. The Perinatal Project is fully community-funded through our GoFundMe, and every contribution directly supports formula, diapers, nutritious meals, transportation, and ongoing medical and logistical support for families who would otherwise go without.
