In 2024, Operation Olive Branch (OOB) partnered with artist Kehlani on their “Next 2 U” T-Shirt fundraising initiative, created with Palestinian artist Yasmeen Mjalli and printed in Palestine by Nol Collective.
This historic collaboration raised over $555,000, making it one of the largest community-led fundraising efforts of its kind and helping OOB expand our work across Palestine, Congo, and Sudan.
After all T-Shirt costs and our Fiscal Agent's 10% fee, OOB received $282,219.54 to support direct aid efforts for Palestinian, Congolese and Sudanese families, supporting communities facing genocide, military violence, displacement, man-made famine, and systemic neglect.
This fundraiser strengthened multiple water-access projects. $10,000 went to Bisan Owda and Ele Elna Elak for community water distribution, and $16,060 went to our ongoing partnership with Bahrain Medical Aid, funding dozens of 5,000-liter water trucks and food kits
These water initiatives have been critical as Gaza faces one of the world’s most severe water crises.
Through a partnership with Sulala Animal Rescue, OOB provided $3,760 to feed the cats within Camp Ard Al Zaytoon, and build wooden shelters for their protection. This ensured that animals, tended by the families in the camp, received food and safety.
$10,000 was sent for emergency food kits, hygiene kits, and a 4,800-liter truck of clean drinking water. This was one of the few avenues of aid reaching families completely cut off from traditional humanitarian corridors.
$10,000 was sent for rent support, food assistance, and free medication for Palestinian refugees in Egypt. Many families fled with nothing, and this aid helped stabilize their conditions while in exile,
In Khan Younis, where thousands of families are displaced after the destruction of homes, OOB provided $10,000 through Dr. Shammala’s Humanitarian Alliance to distribute food packages, diapers, infant formula, and medical supplies. This aid supported families with newborns, disabled relatives, and elderly members, many of whom had no remaining belongings or access to basic necessities.
$45,000 was sent to support clean water access, a community health clinic, job training programs, and emergency aid for families in Goma through Focus Congo. Communities in the region have faced displacement and instability due to ongoing M23 attacks, and this support strengthened Congolese-led efforts to provide safety, stability, and essential services during the crisis.
$13,908 was sent to Khartoum Aid Kitchen to reopen a vital community kitchen serving more than 300 people daily and providing formula for infants. The kitchen became a lifesaving resource for Sudanese families facing extreme food insecurity, operating sustainably at just $76 a day.
$13,090 was sent to launch a Malnutrition Program that identified 385 critically malnourished babies and provided them with emergency nutritional support. This assistance offered immediate intervention for infants at severe risk, addressing one of the most urgent humanitarian needs in the region.
