Operation E-WAYS is a nonprofit, student-led organization that aspires to help in protecting the Earth from further destruction so that future generations may also witness the beauty of our planet. As more technological developments arise each year, the amount of accumulated waste from the production of electronic products also increases. This then contributes to the worsening of global warming and poses danger to living organisms.
This project aims to aid in managing the increasing amount of electronic waste. With the use of social media and other web platforms, we will raise awareness and encourage people to join in the fight against pollution and global warming.
Through this initiative, we believe that, in a way or two, the people we will reach would find something in themselves to act for a brighter tomorrow.
Operation E-WAYS aims to help manage the increasing amount of electronic waste and aid in the preservation of Mother Earth, as well as raise awareness about climate change and solid waste management issues.
Operation E-WAYS envisions a cleaner and safer world where people and other living organisms can continue to thrive.

MaScians have allowed their personal information to us and have cooperated and splendidly answered the questions though some have anonymously answered the questions. As expected, with our target audience being MaScians, the demographics of our survey are mostly the avid internet-using youth. Most of them use the internet for more than 8 hours a day due to online schooling and it being one of the only sources of entertainment during lockdown. Also because of the lockdown, the most used applications are social media applications which allow us to communicate and socialize from long distances.
Moving on, some of the questions were based on a personality test called OCEAN, in which MaScians have met excellent qualities. They are all aware and have different and creative solutions for solving climate change. Even though they aren't part of an organization, they do these things as an initiative. Although they are not that much aware of e-waste management, they still do have the basic knowledge forehand that is mostly self-taught/researched. With that, they are also willing to participate in our advocacy for they are aware of the consequences dealt with by the ongoing climate change.
Openness
All of our target audiences are on the open side of the spectrum. They are all aware and have different and creative solutions for solving climate change. Even though they aren't part of an organization they do these things as an initiative for them. Audiences that answered the survey are very knowledgeable regarding the issues pertaining to climate change. They also know the effects of climate change that the world is facing and experiencing right now.
Conscientiousness
After analyzing the answers of our audiences, we can conclude that they have foreknowledge regarding e-waste either self-taught or learned from another person. It can be said that they are conscientious since highly conscientious people tend to be organized and mindful of details not only on themselves but to everyone around them.
Extraversion
Regarding e-waste management, most of our audiences are not very familiar with the topic. It was said that the information about it is very scarcely discussed, or it is not spread to most citizens of the Philippines.
Agreeableness
Audiences that answered the survey are willing to participate in our advocate.
Neuroticism
After the survey was answered by our audience, we can conclude that all of them are anxious about the occurring climate change in our world. That leads to being worried about the following generations to come after them. While most of them believe that our efforts will cause a change to climate change, there are some that say it is barely possible.
MaScians have foreknowledge regarding e-waste. They are aware of the dangers this poses, such as causing cancer by releasing toxins in the atmosphere or initiating soil degradation. Since it is not often tackled, MaScians are only aware of the basic information about electronic waste. However, they are very much familiar with climate change and its effects.
Based on the results of our survey in both the demographic and psychographic, it can be concluded that we were successful in reaching out to our target audience. We have a similar goal, and through their support and help, we will be able to spread our message faster and easier. Letting the whole community know about e-waste management is even more important because informing more people about a problem is more likely to lead to lasting change. While both raising awareness about an issue and actively trying to address the issue are important, causing more people to be aware of an issue ensures that people will attempt some form of solution.
