Climate change, along with global warming, has been a growing issue since the industrial revolution. One of the contributors to global warming and climate change is the enormous amount of waste generated by humans. An example of solid waste is electronic waste, a type that includes gadgets and other electronic devices. With the continuous technological advancements, the amount of electronic waste will surely continue to surge.
Operation E-WAYS is a nonprofit, student-led organization that aspires to help in protecting the Earth from further destruction so that future generations may also witness the beauty of our planet. As more technological developments arise each year, the amount of accumulated waste from the production of electronic products also increases. This then contributes to the worsening of global warming and poses danger to living organisms.
Through this initiative, we believe that, in a way or two, the people we will reach would find something in themselves to act for a brighter tomorrow.

Operation E-waste tries to help in stopping climate change by spreading awareness to Filipinos about their e-waste production.
Operation E-waste targets everyone in the Philippines to be informed about the e-waste problem, and to participate in trying to stop our environmental problem by reducing e-waste production.
Our targeted audience for answering the surveys are MaScians who live around the Philippines.
Our audiences will be able to acquire knowledge of climate change and e-waste management issues.
They will also gain guidance anywhere and anytime about where recognized recycling sites for e-wastes are in the Philippines.
Another skill they will obtain is the knowledge on how to reduce and reuse their own electronics in the comfort of their homes.
To spread awareness about e-waste and the role it plays in climate change
To use social media as a tool to educate and encourage people to participate in e-waste management
To create a platform that would become a center for e-waste management information
To motivate individuals using various multimedia tools to promote the Earth’s preservation
To work with individuals and organizations that can help in the cause
To publish five posts about e-waste on the Facebook page
To gain a total of 50 likes on the Facebook page
To reach 100 Facebook post engagements
To survey at least 10 individuals about their knowledge and interest in e-waste and climate change
To have more than 15 reaches on the advocacy site
Time
This is the most valuable constraint simply because it cannot be increased. Having a short time to do our project would be a huge detriment to its quality. This is why it is very important to manage this constraint first by planning out an action plan.
Resources and Quality
Let us redefine resources first, this pertains to the capability of the group to deal with the facilities, software, manpower, and equipment or materials. Without proper allocation of said resources, the project may experience lower quality results and timeline delays. Quality, it pertains to how well the project deliverables meet initial expectations. Every project constraint affects this one.
Scope
This constraint refers to the magnitude of our project. This includes its standards, results, and various features. A higher scope means our other constraints would also become tighter.
In order to manage these constraints properly, we balance our scope with our resources & quality, and time as shown by the diagram. The time and resource & quality must be balanced with each other and according to the scope in order to reach the best of both worlds.
