Here, we are posting Project Requests informed by insights from the front-line. Validated for use for COVID-19 would be preferred (SARS, MERS, or general coronavirus may be sufficient).

Project Request 1: RT-PCR Mastermix

• Substitution of RT-PCR Mastermix using basic chemical components.

Project Request 2: Nucleic Acid Purification for COVID-19 samples

• Substitution of Nucleic Acid Purification Kits using basic chemical components (e.g. phenol/chloroform extraction, trizol, etc), validated for use for COVID-19 (SARS, MERS, or general coronavirus may be sufficient)

Project Request 3: Clones for RT-PCR Enzymes

• Clones for the following:

  • Reverse transcriptase enzyme

  • Taq polymerase enzyme
