Teaching

Our teaching staff follows the Standards set by the NAEYC. "These standards and competencies emphasize that today's ECE teachers need to understand child development, social and emotional. development, and family influences on children's learning" (Buettner, Hur, Jeon, & Andrews, 2016, Para. 2).

• Our teaching approach will be to allow the children to have the freedom to play, explore their surroundings as learn. Our teachers will observe and access the children as they play.

• Planed small group activities will encourage the children to build relationships and learn to work together.

• Our teachers will also teach lessons that will engage the children in specific activities and meet age-appropriate goals.
