With your tablet in regular mode open Google Play. Navigate to the page for Gmail. Click uninstall. Technically it will just uninstall all updates. That's okay. Open the app after the uninstall (do not update, yet.)

If I try to open links that are attached to emails that go to my work profile, It doesn't open. I tried forwarding the same email to my personal email and the links open like normal. The work profile somehow is preventing the link to open. It's a bit frustrating having to forward the work email to a personal email just to see the links.

I had the same problem, I found the fix to be pulling up the Work profile apps from the app manager, and downloading chrome from the Google play store on the work profile side of the app manager(with the little briefcase in the corner of the icon). Now I am able to open links thru my work gmail. Hope this helps as I couldn't find any other forums answering this question.

So sick of ads. If I'm using the reddit app or the google app and click on a link, it will open using Chrome. I do have an option in the settings to "Open in browser" which works fine, but is there a way to have it default to Samsung Internet?

You know how the Google app has that Discover page where they show you relevent news articles, you click on one and it opens your default browser. I've stopped using that Google app and instead use only my Samsung Internet browser now, with the homepage set to Google, which shows the same news articles. A few days ago, I don't know what happened, but suddenly I can't click on any of the articles? Instead I get that dumb Google AMP thing at the top left of the screen. (Interestingly, the URL in the address bar changes, but the news site just doesn't load. However it WILL load if I press the reload button.)

When I click the paperclip AMP icon it takes me to the news article fine, but then when I click the back button, it basically refreshes the page (instead of returning to the google homepage) and I get a popup at the bottom saying that I'm now signed in to my google account. I don't get that popup when I first click the link/view the article. Pressing Back a second time returns me to the homepage.

It's not that huge of an issue but it's very annoying. I have no idea how to fix it. I've uninstalled and reinstalled samsung internet. Been thinking about doing a factory reset but I really don't want to over such a minute issue. The articles open fine on Chrome. Also, I am using a Samsung s10e. Does anyone here use Samsung Internet browser? Have you been experiencing this problem? Please advise. Thank you.

Install or open the Link to Windows mobile app on your Android device. To do this, open a web browser on your Android device and then enter the link that's displayed on your PC (www.aka.ms/yourpc).

This link between your iPhone and PC gives you instant access to many things you love. Read and reply to text messages with ease, make and receive calls, and manage your iPhone notifications right on your PC.

I have hosted assetlinks file into our domain -known/assetlinks.json And also verified this using -asset-links/tools/generator and from android studio's App Links Assitant and got verified status from both the ways. But when i am sharing debug APK for testing it's always opening in browser.I also tried uploading on app store and downloaded from there for testing but it always open in browser.

Note: for debug build used my laptop SHA-256 and once app live on play store changed SHA ( got SHA-256from By going to Application Dashboard in Play Console then Release Management --> App Signing ) on hosted assetlinks file into our domain -known/assetlinks.json

But even after adding assetlinks.json file and adding all the intent-filters. Android 12 still isn't detecting deep-links. In Android-Manifest file turns out that scheme's tag is need to be separated from the data tag like this:

In my case problem was with inconsistent between SHA Signatures in store build and -known/assetlinks.json, that's why deep links were disabled by default on Android 12, for fixing it we can connect our phone with problem build to Android studio and run this command:

next you need to check whether the signature fingerprints is included in your -known/assetlinks.json, in my case it doesn't,also keep in mind that in assetlinks.json file can be couple of signatures for example for debug, alpha, beta and production builds, it should looks like below:

If your links were shown as verified in step 4 then now install the app on device and wait for atleast 2-3 minutes before clicking on any app links because in this time Android will verify your app links by reading your manifest file and the digital assets JSON file that you uploaded on your website.

In my case after doing the above (debug/release SHA-256 keys in assetlinks, separate the scheme tag) the final culprit turned out to be the "path" tag. For some reason the verification process does not include the tag even though this has always been there in the app and used to work prior to Android 12. Not a big deal in my app since I was ignoring the path anyway.

I have ran into an issue where verified app links do not trigger a redirect to our app on Android 12. All of the previous Android versions work just fine. Changes that have been made to web intents in Android 12 are addressed in our app and we have verified our domain with assetlinks.json. All other browsers that can handle deep linking work just fine as well. Are there any known issues regarding app links with Samsung Internet 17.0.1.69 on Android 12?

Facing issue in deep linking in react native on Android 13 Samsung device. Its working perfectly on other manufacturers android 13 devices. I saw that supported web link option is false by default only in samsung devices android 13.

Sometimes chrome will force you to open links in an external app, for example YouTube will always open in it's app. To avoid that, you can open the link as a new tab, by long pressing on the link and selecting "open in New tab"

O2 Telefnica and Samsung will begin conducting initial tests of 4G and 5G vRAN and Open RAN technologies in a lab located at Munich, Germany. The companies will then carry out field tests in a commercial 5G network in Landsberg am Lech, with the goal to achieve technical and operational readiness. O2 Telefnica, one of the leading mobile telecommunications providers in Germany, is transforming its network architecture towards one of the most efficient and future-proof networks built on modern RAN technologies, open interfaces and automation features.

Open RAN disaggregation will enable more flexibility and automation in the RAN environment, as it offers open interfaces with more possibilities to develop new use cases for customers and network operation. It also provides the opportunity to integrate multiple components from different suppliers in one network.
