Local Rules for OOGL Events

1. OOGL has adopted the USGA Local Rule E-5 – Alternative to Stroke and Distance for Lost Ball or Ball Out of Bounds.  

2. A player has the option to lift his/her ball from any bunker, rake the spot where the ball lay, and place the ball as near as possible to its original location without penalty.

3. Obstructions include any area underlain by gravel.

4. Residential private property is out of bounds whether marked or not.  These areas include rock walls, temporary construction fencing, and manicured areas.

5. A ball hitting a wooden stake or rope on Hole #18 may be replayed without penalty.
