Remember that you may need to adjust your score before you post it. The USGA allows a maximum score of “net double bogey” on each hole. Net double bogey is equal to Par + 2 Strokes + Additional handicap strokes for that hole.
For example, imagine you are playing the Front 9, your Course Handicap is 7, and you shoot an 8 on Hole #2 (ouch!). When you calculate your adjusted score, you should record a score of only 7 on that hole (4 + 2 + 1).
