Your wheelpower is helping everywhere!
We welcomed 430 riders for On Your Bike 2024!
Think of a cheque as 430 cyclists riding and with the support of sponsors’ raising £5,000 for Alzheimer’s and Dementia Support Services.
President Mark Underwood presented the funds created by the wheel power of the ‘On Your Bike’ charity ride organised by Gravesham with Ebbsfleet Rotary in May this year.
ADSS Chief Executive Officer Katie Antill said the advice groups and dementia cafes they organise will particularly benefit from the charity ride including new support for the Sikh community.
President Mark highlighted how ADSS has grown across the years that ‘On Your Bike’ and Rotary has supported them, to now having dementia co-ordinators in surgeries.
Further charities have also benefitted from the wheel power of the ride including food banks, homeless shelter and parents’ support.

Our thanks to you all for your great support and there are thousands of pounds for the charities.
Whoever brought the weather -- thank you very much as it even had riverside breezes to match the bright sunshine.
Our youngest rider on Sunday was not quite a year old safely in his seat behind dad. Thank you also to our sponsors (see their page) and the OYB team on the riverside and out at the checkpoints. All the bread pudding went!
We are proud that 'On Your Bike' has been organised by Rotary for 36 years, contributing a remarkable £600,000 to local and Rotary charities. Together, through your wheelpower, Rotary is making a positive impact on the lives of many.
Save the date! Sunday, 18 May, for On Your Bike 2025 -- every rider bring another with you. We have the room!
