The project started with a kick-off meeting in January 2024, hosted by HESL in Ireland.
The meeting focused on introducing the project and partenr's responsibilities, organising activities, discussing strategies to reach the target group, and planning dissemination and collaboration efforts. Partners also explored Dublin, visiting cultural landmarks and engaging in team-building activities.
The youth mobility week in Athens was a creative and immersive experience focused on using puppet theatre to inspire young people to vote in the 2024 European Elections. Hosted by the Greek partner Prasin Aloga from April 17–21, participants collaborated to finalise and rehearse an original story about democracy and freedom, created their own puppets, and brought them to life on stage. The week also included cultural exchanges and visits to Athens' historic landmarks like the Acropolis. The highlight was filming the final theatre performance, combining creativity and civic engagement, which you can find in the Output section of this website.
The youth mobility in Berlin took place from October 13–17 and was hosted by Alrahallah Theater. Young people created and performed an original social theatre play focused on inclusion and empathy, addressing biases and improving community life. The week included team-building activities, discussions on societal oppression, and collaborative development of the play. Participants rehearsed and filmed the final performance, which you can find in the Output section of this website.
The final Transnational Project Meeting took place on the 21st and 22nd February. Partners assessed the second phase of the project, carried out the final project evaluation and discussed its long-term sustainability. We reviewed the outputs' final versions and ended with the preparation for the final report and with a discussion for the writing of a follow-up proposal.
