Onslow County Middle Schools

The first middle school wrestling team was Northwoods Park. Dixon was added in 1986. In the 1980's these 2 programs as well as middle school teams from New Bern (2 schools),West Craven,Plymouth, Washington and Williamston formed a wrestling conference. Tabernacle (Onslow county) joined in the late 1980's. When all Onslow county middle schools started wrestling programs they formed a conference that consisted of the eight Onslow county schools in it's present form. Brewster joined to expand the conference to 9 schools.This is one of the largest middle school wrestling conferences in North Carolina.
