This is an activity that can be done in-person with skill levels from the most basic to more advanced.
Each learner has a different card. They mingle around the room ("Walk"), and approach another learner. Learner 1 needs to respond to Learner 2's card, and Learner 2 needs to respond to Learner 1's card ("Talk"). If they both respond correctly, they trade cards ("Trade") and then resume mingling and talking.
You can set the rules. For example, can they help/coach each other with the correct response? Some of the ways this can be used are:
Saying the vocabulary word from a picture
Reading a word
Reading a number
Modifying a word (making it plural, or turning "We work" to "He _____s")
Answering a question ("What is our state?")
I like this activity because it gets learners moving and talking, and can be adapted to practice many skills.
