We manufacture hobbyhorses and equipment using recycled materials. All our hobbyhorses are unique and handcrafted from carefully selected recycled materials.

The horses are entirely our own handwork from the patterns onwards. We are constantly designing and developing our patterns. The patterns are customised according to the size, breed and fabrics of the horse. A lot of hours are put into a hobbyhorse and each product is made with great heart and passion for the craft.

The horses are handcrafted by us as ornaments, although they do take some riding and grooming. Handmade products always contain small parts, so we do not recommend these for very young children. 

The sticks for the hobbyhorses are made from Finnish wood unless otherwise stated. The sticks are treated with acrylic paint and varnished to give the surface a more durable and shiny finish. The stick is well attached and is also partially glued, so removing it will damage the horse. Depending on the horse, the mane and tail are wool yarn, mohair or other yarn. Possibly also fibre hair.

To maintain the condition of your hobbyhorse, we recommend keeping it dry and avoiding brushing to preserve its shape and protect the mane and tail. If you choose to brush it, use only a very soft brush, such as a baby brush. Be sure to protect the horse from rain, as moisture can damage the internal stuffing.
