OnJet VPN ("OnJet", "we", "us", or "our") keeps privacy simple. The app exists to protect your connection — not to record what you do with it. This Privacy Policy explains the small amount of information we handle when you use our mobile application (the "App"), why we handle it, and how we keep it safe. By installing or using the App, you accept the practices described here. If any part of this Policy doesn't sit right with you, please stop using the App.
1. Our No-Logs Promise
Keeping nothing is the point. We do not record, read, or store:
- your browsing history or the sites and services you connect to;
- the contents of your traffic;
- your DNS lookups;
- connection logs of any kind — that means no real IP address, no VPN IP address assigned to your session, no connect or disconnect times, and no session lengths.
Because none of this is ever written down, there is simply nothing on our side that could reveal what you did while connected.
2. The Limited Information We Handle
To keep the App working and stable, we deal with the smallest possible set of information, none of which is tied to your individual activity:
- Basic device and app details. Non-identifying things like device model, operating system version, app version, and language, used to keep the App compatible and to spot performance problems.
- Aggregated, anonymous metrics. Combined figures such as how often connections succeed and roughly how much data is carried (in MB). These describe the network as a whole, never you personally.
- Messages you send us. If you email our support address, we keep your message and contact details only for as long as it takes to help you, and to handle similar questions better.
We keep this information only as long as it serves the purpose it was collected for, after which it is deleted or anonymized. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not trade it for profit.
3. The VPN Permission
To build a secure tunnel, the App uses your device's VPN configuration capability. Granting it lets OnJet route your traffic through an encrypted connection. It does not let us see inside that traffic. You can withdraw this permission at any time from your device settings, which turns the service off.
4. How We Protect Your Data
We use strong, standards-based encryption and modern tunneling to protect data while it is in transit. Please keep in mind that no system that carries data across public networks can promise perfect security. We take reasonable, up-to-date precautions, but we cannot guarantee absolute protection against every possible threat.
5. Third-Party Services
To run the App and keep it free, we rely on a few outside services:
- App platforms such as Google Play handle downloads, installation, and updates.
- Advertising partners may display ads inside the App. Where it applies, these ads are non-personalized. Ad partners may use device-level advertising identifiers only to count and measure ad delivery. They cannot see, decrypt, or reach the traffic inside your VPN tunnel.
Each of these third parties follows its own privacy terms, which we encourage you to read.
6. Legal Requests
We follow the laws of the places where we operate. But what we can hand over is limited by a simple fact: we do not hold activity logs or connection records tied to any individual. We cannot produce behavior information that was never recorded. At most, we hold the limited technical and support details described above.
7. Children's Privacy
OnJet is not made for, or aimed at, children under 13 (or the higher minimum age set where you live). We do not knowingly collect information from children. If you think a child has given us information, contact us and we will remove it.
8. Your Privacy Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or restrict the limited personal information we hold, or to object to certain processing. Because of our no-logs design, in most cases we hold nothing tied to you to act on.
If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, we handle personal information in line with the GDPR, the UK data protection regime, and Swiss data protection law. We rely on these legal bases: contractual necessity, to deliver the service set out in our Terms of Service; legitimate interests, to keep our network secure and reliable; and consent, where the law requires it, for example for certain advertising — which you may withdraw at any time. You also have the right to complain to your local supervisory authority. Where limited information moves across borders to run the service, we take reasonable steps to keep it protected to a standard consistent with this Policy.
9. Updates to This Policy
This Policy may change as the service or the law changes. When it does, we will post the new version here and update the "Last Updated" date above. If a change is significant, we may also flag it inside the App.
