Pro Musica Café is Pro Musica Youth Chorus’s annual community fundraiser and celebration of our singers is coming up on Sunday, March 22, at 2 at Distro Music Hall! The event brings together families, friends, and supporters for an afternoon of trivia, raffle and silent auctions, and of course performances by our four ensembles.
The afternoon showcases the talent and growth of our singers while creating a welcoming, social atmosphere where supporters can enjoy time together and learn more about the chorus.
In addition to raising essential funds, Pro Musica Café strengthens the sense of community that is central to the organization’s mission. Singers have opportunities to take on small leadership roles before and during the event, and to celebrate their shared musical accomplishments. In addition, many local businesses and community members step up to donate our prizes, including some of our own families.
Funds raised through Pro Musica Café support scholarships, music education resources, concert production costs, and program operations, helping ensure that all young people who want to sing with Pro Musica have the opportunity to participate.
