One Voice for Arts is made up of four nonprofit organizations based in Oak Park, Illinois. We bring high-quality, consistent, boundary-stretching live music, vocal, and theater performances to local residents as well as to the surrounding areas in Chicago and suburbs.
Our organizations are collaborative by nature, and coming together helps us to elevate, amplify, and express live arts in our community.

Pro Musica Youth Chorus educates and empowers singers from Kindergarten through high school by offering varied and exceptional musical experiences. The Chorus provides voice training and performance opportunities through a choral program led by professional musicians in four different ensembles. Weekly afterschool rehearsals and concerts throughout the season give Pro Musica singers a positive life-changing musical experience that they will carry through the rest of their lives.
The Oriana Singers have been presenting innovative choral performances since 1979.
Led by noted conductor William Chin, they have toured nationally, internationally, and in Chicagoland. Their mission has expanded to fostering collaborations across disciplines with other artists and nurturing emerging choral ensembles such as the community chorus City Voices. The six-voice work of The Oriana Singers is imaginative, eclectic, and impeccably rehearsed, featuring leading vocalists and collaborating instrumentalists who have been called
"world-class" by internationally versed listeners.
Founded in 1931, the award-winning Symphony of Oak Park & River Forest is one of the oldest community orchestras in the country. The orchestra performs the best in symphonic repertory featuring world-class soloists as well as sponsoring an annual concerto competition, paid internships for string student musicians, and free concert admission for students through college. The orchestra is proud to have hosted Ricardo Muti, Music Directory of the Chicago Symphony Orchestra, for open rehearsals
for over a decade.
Forest Theatre Company was founded in Forest Park, Illinois by graduates and faculty of the University of Illinois, Chicago School of Theatre and Music in the spring of 2021. Forest Theatre Company is dedicated to language-centered, meta-theatrical, multi-disciplinary, multi-lingual, and multi-cultural performances that invigorate the classical canon and create new classics for the 21st century. We are also dedicated to bringing theatre arts to the community through readings, educational programs and partnerships and productions of local scripts.
