There are 5 volunteer categories: Set Up, Breakdown, Ticket Taker, Greeter and Kids Corner. All shifts are 5 hours long and generally require that you be able to stand on your feet, perform some physical labor, and have a friendly demeanor. It’s important to wear comfortable shoes and attire.
Set Up: Volunteers help with setting up and arranging tables and chairs, transporting items to booths, and other tasks. Volunteers should be able to lift 40 lbs., be on your feet for 4 hours or more, and be able to climb a ladder if needed.
Breakdown: Volunteers help with breaking down and packing up items after the close of the show on Sunday evening. Volunteers should be able to lift 40 lbs., be on your feet for 4 hours or more, and be able to climb a ladder if needed.
Ticket Taker: Volunteers take tickets at ticket table. They may also be asked to apply a wrist band.
Greeter: Volunteers provide a friendly greeting to attendees, help with line control, and assist ticket takers and check hand stamps.
Kids’ Zone: Volunteers help with outside children interactive zone under tent and keep children entertained, as well as monitor activities.
