Pina Bartolo is a painter and drawer interested in the human experience. Her practice is varied and explores the human figure, portrait, landscape and still life.

Drawing has always been the foundation to her work, and she explores how spatial relationships, perspective and the effect of light and chiaroscuro can be used to convey emotional and metaphysical states of being.

Alongside her artistic practice she offers portrait, life drawing, and painting programmes in adult education, selected senior high schools as well as private tuition.
