Painting portraits is one of the most challenging of all subject matters, but by far the most satisfying. Experiencing the delight of my clients when their loved ones are transformed into a work of art is so amazing. It’s difficult to achieve a likeness of your subject, a mood and a real feel for their personal character and at the same time creating a painting but so rewarding when you do.
