Niki Carlino is an urban creator of objects. His work is influenced by cities, landscapes and the day to day objects within the social environment we currently live in.

Colour is heavily manipulated within Niki's work.

Influenced by the subway art of the late 70s and 80s in New York, the objects evoke interpretations of past influences within the urban culture.

The simplicity of colour and line within the objects allow the viewer to make observations without context. Within the objects is a minimalist void.

Niki received his Master of Art Degree in painting from The University of NSW, College of Fine Arts and also his Bachelor of Fine Art Painting & Sculpture from COFA.

Niki has also participated in numerous group shows in Sydney and Europe.
