Nathan explores the relationships between past experiences through the combination of different materials, textures and applications. The result is a complex but synergistic system of layers of colour and texture that both conceals and reveals a personal history through patterns drawn from his physical environment.

Nathan’s work presents landscapes, memories and designed spaces. Often possessed of a topographical quality the varying effects draw the viewer’s eye to different sections of his work, resulting in a sensation of being both moved and soothed.
