What fascinates me is the ability of sculptures to defy time, standing in a moment, a gesture, a pose that remains still 'forever'. To move past or around a sculpture is to be in the presence of eternity.

My works are gestures or greetings from the parallel universe of stillness and silence to our ephemeral realm of continual flux and uncertainty.

Sculptures tell me that everything, every moment that is or ever was, can be destroyed but never undone.

I make miniature frozen dramas from found materials with lost pasts binding ideas into material friends.
