Denise was born into rural life in country NSW, Australia and it is the land and the elements that shape it that remain a constant in the work of this well established artist.

Outback travel and aerial flights energise her dramatic perspectives which feature the colours which truly define the Australian landscape. Denise’s works have come to metaphorically express the openness and freedoms experienced in the Australian way of life. Whilst her works strongly reflect the physical isolation of life on the land, the trees, that are ever present, express her deeply rooted connection to place.

Private and corporate collectors, including the Australian Federal Government, have recognised and sought Denise’s works.
