Rory Swimming is an artist working out of Sydney.

His work employs a wide range of materials and modes, often borrowing energy from commercial illustration. Swimming casts a wide net of source material, from his own images of the contemporary Australian landscape to antique porcelain catalogues and the miscellany found on eBay. The result, is work that speaks to the humour and fickleness in the mundanity of daily ritual; extending a branch between the old and the new.
