Patricia Mado is a Japanese/Brazilian artist residing in Sydney since 2007.

Patricia holds a Bachelor of Arts from Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro, the oldest art school in Brazil and spent the last 13 years working in various media with exhibitions in Japan, Brazil and Australia.

Patricia has an artistic passion for organic form. Nature inspires her, it is alive and present everywhere in her native Brazil and especially here in her adopted home of Australia. Her artworks grow from this ubiquitous and primal context, the natural environment and its fragile beauty is the central motif.
