Jennifer Summers is a North Coast born Sydney painter whose work is inspired by the ridges and valleys of the MacPherson Ranges, where she grew up in the Wyneden Valley. A passionate appreciation of this landscape’s character underpins the images of an environment subjected to a cycle of lush seasons, flood, drought and fire. Jennifer is a graduate of City Art Institute (COFA). She has studied portrait painting, photography, print making, etching, sculpture, and has worked as an art teacher, illustrator, and video producer.

Choosing to capture the atmosphere of mornings first light or the fading light at end of day imparts a mood that invites you to share a highly personal view of this place.
