one⁺² artist studios are the largest non-profit, fine art studios in the country. The two warehouse studios, located in Balmain and Rozelle - Sydney, provide working studio facilities for over 75 artists.

These artists practice in a wide variety of disciplines (including painting, drawing, mixed media, sculpture, glass, ceramics, installation and photography). Many of the one⁺² artists are represented by leading galleries throughout Australia and include finalists in the Sulman and Portia Geach Prizes, the Salon des Refuses and Sculpture by the Sea. They include teachers at high profile art schools and colleges and winners of numerous other art prizes and awards.

one⁺² artist studios has been operating since 1990, starting with just 7 artists in residence. The attention and dedication of Studio Director, Rogerio Blanc-Ramos, has seen it evolve to offer working space to artists across two buildings. Joined by Wendy Arnold a full-time artist, the studios have thrived in creativity and momentum. Almost immediately the momentum and forward path was set.

Today the studios are a centre for creative talent in the Balmain/Rozelle/Lilyfield areas of Sydney. Studio Director, Rogerio Blanc-Ramos, is delighted with how well the unusually large group of artists work well together. He has seen over time that "the studio environment encourages artists to think outside their individual boundaries and to learn from each other as the space offers a cross-fertilisation of ideas".

The studios open for a weekend or more each year when visitors can watch the artists at work. The Rozelle studios also provide a gallery where artists can exhibit their work.
