Miss Kristi has cultivated an amazing classroom setting conducive to learning not only academic lessons, but applicable life lessons (be kind to one another, use your words if you're upset, etc.)

A love of learning has been sparked in E by Miss Kristi and seeing him so excited to learn and try and do new things and "connect the dots" every week, makes my heart explode! I'm looking forward to seeing him grow even more next school year at Once Upon A Preschool

-"My oldest son attended Miss Kristi's preschool for two years, and my second son just started this year. Miss Kristi is so devoted to her students, and it shows in everything she does. She pours her heart into her job. My oldest started out very reserved, but after two years with her, he blossomed. He is much more confident and has developed a love of learning that will serve him his whole life. She prepares her students for kindergarten in every way, not just academically. Every class, they recite their "morning mantra", with statements like "I make mistakes and that's okay" and "I am me and I love me." These phrases show up in my home all the time now. 

I cannot say enough good things about Miss Kristi. She truly loves each child in her class, and the kids can tell. They know she wants to be there, they know she is one of their biggest cheerleaders. She is exactly the kind of teacher you want for your child's first exposure to a structured learning environment. She communicates with the parents, posts pictures and details of each day, and puts together so many special events throughout the year. I lucked into finding her for my oldest; I don't think I could have found a better preschool if I had tried. "

She sets individual academic goals for each student based on their skills. She works with them one on one to ensure they are on track. She is always available if you have questions and is very responsive. She posts pictures of everyday online so we can see how their day was and all the fun activities they did for the day. My son is four and is already sounding out words and starting basic reading. My son always wants to go to school and is upset if he is sick and wants Miss Kristi to cancel class so he doesn't miss a thing. We are so lucky we found her preschool!"
