Once Upon A Museum seeks to deepen the understanding of past choices, present circumstances, and future possibilities; ensure the preservation of stories and histories; and facilitate community building.
Once Upon a Museum was founded in 1995 in order to ensure the preservation of unique stories and artifacts relating to the broader storybook database. Each item has been collected in conjunction with a story, as a means to help further explain the circumstances surrounding it, or as a direct link within the story itself. Many items have been given to the museum by the families or the subjects of the stories.
